We got our official court date for Chylar's finalization. It is a month earlier that we expected. June 10th! After this date, it is official and we will get a birth certificate with our names on it!!
You are so lucky. Congrats on your date!!! We had to wait 6months from TPR, not from birth, so that made it just over 7 months that it should have been, but for some reason we didn't finalize until 8 months and 9 days after birth.
Coleen that is awesome! We,too, had to wait until at least 6months and we finalized when Tori was 8 months old. Our friends didn't finalize until their baby was 14 months old. Crazy huh? So happy you get to finalize so soon!! Yippee!!!
YAY!! Congrats!! That is awesome! With my girls, we had them placed with us in July and didn't finalize until the following May . . . and we were in AZ too! Glad that yours is happening so soon!!
(part of our delay is that we moved from Maricopa to Pinail county right before we got the girls . . . agency sent our paperwork to Maricopa first, then Pinal was just super slow!!)
